Here is a brief profile of some staff at Homeschool Associates, just a few highlights.
- One of the certified teachers has homeschooled her two daughters for 14 years -- all the way through high school. They are now in college, one graduates this year.
- One of our certified teachers has homeschooled two daughters for 16 years -- all the way through high school. One is in college and the other has already graduated and is currently a certified teacher in a private school (quite ironic?)!
- Another of our two teachers are husband and wife and have homeschooled 5 children for 19 years! Four are up and out, one remains at home and they are still homeschooling.
- One of our teachers has been in the classroom of public and parochial schools for 24 years, and has now embraced homeschool families into her regular employment with us (yes, she has given up the "comfort" of the classroom!).
- We have our own certified school librarian who manages her homeschool case load and no longer works for any other school. She homeschooled 2 children for 8 years.
- One of our master-degree certified teachers has homeschooled 5 sons for 12 years!!! She manages our associate families who homeschool in foreign countries!
- One of our local instructors in art is 94 years old!
- The administrative staff includes a certified school administrator, a former private school administrator, a former pastor, and several licensed nurses.
- One of the staff is a member of the public school policy committee.
- There is much more that could be said, and many more good people who could be mentioned. But the point is easy to understand -- we have homeschool experience, professional experience, and practical experience that can assist you with your questions.
Homeschool Associates staff have answers to the following questions and more (you might imagine how many questions we've heard over the past 23 years!).
